I am not happy or sad about Cannon Mendoza being defeated. I do not celebrate anoder mans victory. I knew that Mendoza's game was too basic and that he would lose eventually, so it was only a matter of time. I just wish that it was me to give him that first loss.
I think that he is still a big draw and in the pros the super-fights will still make their way to the cage. All he needs to do is start winning again and there is no doubt that people will want to see me kick that bums ass around da cage.

Olivia! Great questions! Huge fan of your work! Anyways, definitely sad to see Mendoza lose a very tight decision there! I guess all good things must come to an end! Will there be an immediate rematch? Maybe, maybe not! This definitely hurts Cannon Mendoza's stock a bit, but he's still a huge draw! No doubt about that! I feel bad for whoever his next opponent is, because Cannon will sure bring his all into that one!
Oh! Mr. O'Donnell! Question for you sir! Sorry to piggyback on your very fabulous network show!

And I surely do look forward to that day! It will be legendary for the sport of MMA! Well, I t'ink dat we seen what the holes in his game are. His striking is powerful but he is sloppy and inefficient. He landed with very poor accuracy and his opponent overwhelmed him with clean precise shots. He was taken down without returning takedowns and simply did not do enough to score. Against fighters who use timing and precision it becomes irrelevant that Mendoza has speed and power. I still t'ink dat we will meet too but the stars must align my friend. The weight, money, and da momentum and hype need to be right for that fight to happen. For now, I am on anoder level. |
