Welcome to the very first episode of "Fight Talks!" on Canada's #1 Fight Network, CFN! Today we will be showing you an exclusive video call between our host Olivia Megan and rising prospect Ryan O'Donnell. Megan: Hey Ryan! Its been a little while since your last fight now. How have you been feeling? O'Donnell: I feel great Olivia. Im ridin' high off my last fight and am ready to fight again soon. Megan: Any exclusive news on your next bout? O'Donnell: Nah, Im not sure right now. The amateurs have an event booked in England and Brazil right now but I won't be on either card. I feel I may end up fighting in Japan again but time will tell. Megan: Is there a message that you want to send to your future opponent? O'Donnell: Be ready fella. I will be ready. So be ready. Megan: At the post fight press conference of AFC Japan 1 Cannon Mendoza called you out. He said that you were a "midget f***" and that his brother would kick your a**. What do you think about that? O'Donnell: eer, I dunno what to say about 'tis guy. I mean, I respect the guy. He goes out and he fights so I, err, I gotta respect that. But he's clowning around by calling everyone that he sees out. I dunno if he is intimidated by the young guys coming up or what but we are just getting into this game. If the time, place, and money is right I will fight anyone. I wouldn't be surprised if I run into him or his brother sometime in the future. Megan: So you are open to a bout with either of the Mendoza's then? O'Donnell: I mean, like I said, we are just getting into this game. If the time, place and money is right then we will make it happen. For now though, they have some more experience, and I feel the fight won't happen till down the road when we can do it in the pros. Megan: If you had a choice do you fight Cannon or Angelo in the future? O'Donnell: You know, I fight at featherweight so I guess Angelo makes sense. But Cannon is the one talking sh** so I dunno. We'll 'ave to see. Megan: Final question so that you can go back to your training, was it fair for Mendoza to question your performance at AFC Japan 1? O'Donnell: This game isn't fair, *haha*. If you are looking for fair I don't tink the fight game is for you. But in all seriousness I mean. I fought a perfect fight. I landed clean precise shots and when I realized he had a good chin and I wasn't gonna knock him out I took him to the ground and finished it. Megan: Thanks for the time Ryan. O'Donnell: Thanks for having me Olivia.

Welcome back everybody to the second episode of "Fight Talks!" on Canada's #1 Fight Network, CFN! Today we will be showing you the official script of a phone call with rising trash talker Cannon Mendoza & his brother Angelo. Megan: Lets get right into the questions Cannon. I think the fans are really excited to hear what you have to say. How has training been for you since your last fight?
Cannon: Training has been good you know. I train with the best fighters in the world. The guys in my camp are real fighters. I'm sparring with monsters daily. I do other things to train too you know. I train my endurance with triathelons. I play soccer with my homies in Stockton. I'll play basketball for cardio. I'm a cardio machine. And then for my mind and my spirit, I use marijuana. That's my supplement of choice. None of that steroid shit everyone uses. Not only does it help with my anxiety, but it helps me focus. I can do some crazy things during jiu jitsu when I'm rolling while high. That's when I learn new shit. So yeah, training has been going good.
Megan: You have a fight scheduled for AFC Brazil 2 against Tsuneie Miyazaki. What do you think of your opponent?
Cannon: I don't know anything about the guy. Obviously he's one of those samurai sword fighting mother fuckers. He's obviously a crazy fuck. I read about World War II when I was in 9th grade and those Dragon Ball Z mother fuckers don't give up. So I expect to have to work to finish this guy.
Megan: So, do you have a prediction for how it ends?
Cannon: I'll win by knockout or submission. If he somehow survives, credit to him. He's going to lose regardless.
Megan: After AFC Japan 1 you took an opportunity at the post fight presser to attack Ryan O'Donnell. He responded to your attack on our last episode. Do you have anything else to say to him?
Cannon: That dude is straight up scared. You can see it clearly in his interview. He doesn't want none of me or my brother. You can see he wants time and he said he's not ready. What the fuck? We're all in the same boat here you dumb shit. It doesn't matter if you've got 4 fights or 0....this is some amateur bullshit league. Nobody has even had the time to put enough training in to make a difference. So what's this mother fucker scared of? I dunno, you gotta ask him. Ask him why he's scared. Ask him if he's got piss rolling down his leg. He probably does.
Megan: Alright, Angelo is going to come onto the line quick now to answer a couple questions. How do you see your bout at AFC Brazil 2 going against Weit Ring?
Angelo: It's probably not the best match up for him. I mean, I don't know what he plans on doing against me, but I'm going to have the advantage wherever it goes. I want to do what Palmer couldn't do. I want to beat this guy. I want to put him away quick and easy. Palmer is supposed to be good, I hope Weit brings it.
Megan: Your brother publicly said that you would kick Ryan O'Donnell's a**. What do you think of him and is this a match-up you would like to see in the future?
Angelo: I didn't see or hear that until just now. I really don't know much about the guy. I'm down to fight him. I wouldn't turn down a fight against anyone. If they want this fight to happen, all they have to do is ask and it is on. I want to fight some better competition, so if that guy can bring it...then bring him. If he's scared he's scared. You can't force a guy to fight.
Megan: Last question for you Cannon before you go. Any pre-fight ritual that you want to share with us today?
Cannon: It would be smoke a fat bowl....but you know they test for that shit so uhhh, not really. Maybe I like to put on my headphones while I wait. The music helps to get me in the zone. Thanks for joining us for this episode of "Fight Talks!" Join us next time for more exclusive interviews.

This is great reporting Olivia Megan. I'm really impressed. The three young fighters mentioned in the interview have caught my eye.
I appreciate the attitude of the Mendoza brothers. They'd like the fight immediately. They want to scrap. What I see here is a potential for a big pay day for both of you. I think O'Donnell understands this as well. I think he's got a good business sense.
I would definitely like to make a fight happen between a Mendoza and O'Donnell....in GFC. If these guys can keep their winning ways, I'll make it happen. Both fights could take place at lightweight or catchweight. This is a fight the fans want to see. There's obviously some tension here. Both of you guys seem talented. Keep it up and you may have yourself a $$$ fight.

O'Donnell doesn't want none of this. What he should want though is some striking lessons. Looking like a little girl out there in the cage. Just like his garbage little team. Whoever the WW in that division is....I know why you're dead silent.

Hello everybody and welcome to CFN! Canada's #1 Fight Network. Today we bring you the very first episode of " Whats New?" At AFC Japan 1 a man collapsed after Abe de Groot viciously knocked out Bryan Vetell. It was reported that this was due to a heart attack. We talked the the AFC Japan public relations team and hot some inside information. "Yes, unfortunately, the person did suffer a heart attack immediately after the result of the battle by Abe de Groot. It is unfortunate. The person is still in hospital. They are now in stable condition under expert medical care. It is our understanding that this man bet money on the defeated fighter. Bryan Vetell is in the same hospital as the man with the broken heart."
In other news, the battle of words continues between Cannon Mendoza and Ryan O'Donnell. Here are two of our best reporters with the update: Rick: After a nearly flawless performance by O'Donnell where he landed over 90% of his strikes and dodged everything thrown at him Mendoza still thinks the guy sucks. Andy: Well, I mean, based off of what he said "Here you are making up excuses for why you can't knock anybody out...and I'm over here sending guys to the morgue. You don't want none of this, bitch." I can't necessarily disagree Rick. I'll admit that O'Donnell has looked good technically but he doesn't possess the power that Cannon does and I think if they fought it'd be a bad night for O'Donnell. Rick: But he would need to connect with that big punch to get it done. Andy: I guess time will tell. Rick: Cannon also took the opportunity to say that O'Donnell's training partner Gunnar McCarthy looked like garbage. We asked for a comment from him but he said that he "prefers to do his talking in the cage." At AFC Brazil 2 we witnessed a devastatingly terrible decision by the judges. Check out the stats for the fight below: Statistics: Hakim SilvaPunches 14/19 (74%) Kicks 1/3 (33%) Clinch strikes 3/7 (43%) Takedowns 0/0 (0%) GnP strikes 0/0 (0%) Submissions 0/0 (0%) Clinch Attempts 2/2 (100%) Damage caused 130,68Clinch Damage 53,2 Ground Damage 0 Time on the ground 127 s Statistics: Ciceron BezerraPunches 2/16 (12%) Kicks 0/0 (0%) Clinch strikes 1/4 (25%) Takedowns 1/7 (14%) GnP strikes 0/0 (0%) Submissions 0/0 (0%) Clinch Attempts 0/0 (0%) Damage caused 13,16Clinch Damage 0 Ground Damage 10,81 Time on the ground 127 s Hakim Silva lost a split-decision here. We got the word from him after the result was read "I don' know wha' fight da judges were hatching. I did 'uch more damage. I landed more strikes." For the viewers out there, if you think one of your fighters was on the wrong side of a decision let us know by sending us a message and we'll check it out! If we feel the same way then we'll report it right here on CFN! Our very own lead journalist, Olivia Megan, tweeted this photo with the caption "Im too bad for you." We can only assume this is in response to the tweet sent out by JSP stating "@omegan Ay girl, you know you want some of this". On a final note, if anyone would like something specific to be reported of if you would like to be interviewed feel free to send me a message and we will try to get your story/interview covered! Till next time that is all for CFN, Canada's #1 Fight Network on " Whats New?"

We both know the answer already.. best BJJ? As far as I know you can't even break a pair of wooden chopsticks. You are a funny guy, 'homie'.

Hello Ladies and Gentleman! Welcome to episode #3 of " Fight Talks!" with Olivia Megan. Today we have a very special interview with the three members of the Chosen Alliance Fight Team. [Frank MacDonald - Lightweight Prospect - (3-0)] ========= [Mike LeBlance - LightHeavyweight Prospect - (3-0)] [Hakim Silva - Middleweight Prospect - (3-2)] ========= And our host Olivia Megan!!! Megan: So, you guys all had a pretty big night at AFC Canada 1. Give me a general idea of your experience and what fighting in Canada was like for you. MacDonald: Man, well, I touched on it in my post fight interview but fighting where I am from was amazing. The energy, the pop that I got from the crowd, the support. It was a lot of pressure but the experience was worth the cost. Silva: This place is not the best for me. I prefer to fight in Brazil or in Japan. Canada is not the energy for me. LeBlance: Fighting in Canada was amazing. The fans are so knowledgable and I fed off the energy so much. I think that showed in my performance. Megan: Yeah, speaking of that performance, that was pretty phenomenal. The world of mma is buzzing pretty majorly over that fight. Talk to us about that experience and what putting on such a show felt like for you.LeBlance: The backlash and buzz going on has got me excited. I feel I am a guy who does not do a lot of talking but now the division has seen me and knows that I am someone to be afraid of.Megan: Does this put pressure on you to always go out and perform this way?LeBlance: Well, Megan, I am never going to get out there not expecting to put on the performance of my life. But I think theres a big target on my back now and from here out the fights will only get tougher. I don't know if I have another fight like this in me but I sure hope so.Megan: Is it sort of bittersweet beating someone in such dominate fashion? The win is obviously great but sending your opponent to the hospital with a concussion must taint that a bit.LeBlance: It sucks that he was concussed in the match but as fighters we know the dangers of this job. I feel a little worse with this being amateur though and knowing he won't be paid for this fight. Hopefully he is okay.Megan: Hakim, although you may not have enjoyed fighting in Canada you had a great performance to bounce back from your tough streak lately. Talk to us about your ups and downs and what might be next for you.Silva: I only have one loss. Technically, I lose my second fight but if you look at the stats and the damage I do it is impossible to deny I won that fight. But in the Brazil Encore tournament I rematch my opponent and he beat me fair. So I wanted to come back at this event and get a much needed win. I would like a finish but that isn't always available. But my opponent that I "lose" to twice should have a trilogy with me someday because in my mind we are 1-1.Megan: We are going to finish off by asking you some questions Frank. I think in a lot of ways you were a highlight on the card because of your hometown status and the fact that you fought a very tough opponent. A lot of people had you picked to lose that fight. Did that motivate you at all?MacDonald: I don't mind being the underdog. I mean, my whole life I've been the underdog in a way so that didnt bother me. I know that I'm capable of beating anyone in the world on my best day.Megan: Taking the fight on short notice against a guy who, stylistically, was a bad matchup for you must be tough. How do you physically and mentally prepare for that?MacDonald: I mean, I train year round as hard as I possibly can. I train the same for everybody so this guy wasn't any different. I didnt look at him as a bad matchup because like I said I am confident I can beat anyone.Megan: Looking forward, what is the ultimate goal for Frank MacDonald? What can we expect in your future?MacDonald: I mean, I know David Gray was at the event checking out our fights. I hope that he was impressed and gives me a chance in the big leagues. I think he sees that Im a company man too and likes that. I think we can both help each other grow his promotion.Megan: Does this mean that you are looking toward turning pro now?MacDonald: I think its probably pretty close. As long as I can get a fair deal with both parties leaving happy it could be anytime now.Megan: Thanks for the time guys. I'll let you all head back to your gyms now and start training.

Hello everybody and welcome to CFN, Canada's #1 Fight Network! Today we have a very special episode. We are going to talk about the results of our exclusive poll and also talk about some of MMA's best fighters today. So, to get us started, very unanimously people voted that the Cannon Mendoza split-decision loss was the right call by judges. Even Mendoza himself seems to be taking the loss pretty well and has already started considering what he might have done wrong in that fight. Hopefully we will see him back soon and better than ever. No one is really sure what the loss will do potential super fights down the road but I think the focus for now should at least be on Mendoza getting that loss back by winning in a rematch.
Next up, on todays episode we are going to ask our viewers to send us (via PM) your list of the top 10 fighters in mma today. We are going to use these votes to compose our first ever top 10 P4P list. From there, the list will be changed and updated based on what happens in the mma scene. This list is pound-for-pound. Who wins if everyone was in the same weight class? Lets find out! Join us next to see #6-#10 as voted on by you, the viewers!
